We are thrilled to announce our official partnership with PUMA as we take our AAU program to the next level by joining the NXTPRO PUMA Hoops circuit.

BOUT A BUCKET IS DEDICATED TO DEVELOPING STUDENT-ATHLETES ON AND OFF THE COURT, AND FOSTERING A FAMILY-ORIENTED ENVIRONMENT.

THE ORGANIZATION AIMS TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUTH THROUGH BASKETBALL, EMPHASIZING EDUCATION, CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT.

  • WHO WE ARE

    Bout A Bucket is a family-run grassroots travel basketball program founded in 2024. Bout A Bucket offers national and regional basketball teams for Boys 8U - 17U and Girls 14U - 17U. We also have summer camps, training and development programs, and fall and winter league teams.

  • FOUNDER

    Bout A Bucket was founded by Damari Parris, a former division 1 basketball player at Western Kentucky, Eastern Michigan & Prairie View A & M. He has played against and with top NBA players and collegiate athletes, and his most notable performance was scoring 40 pts. against Oak Hill Academy.

  • WE ARE HERE

    Bout A Bucket is an AAU affiliated non-profit organization servicing Charlotte, North Carolina and the surrounding areas. Tournaments are held locally and mostly on the East Coast and surrounding cities.

    Damari's D1 basketball journey is the epitome of resilience and determination. He imparts his passion for basketball as a Physical Education and Health Teacher at Wilson STEM Academy in Charlotte, NC

    Coach K is the patriarch of the Parris Family and a true basketball veteran. With over 20 years of coaching experience in AAU, Coach K brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to our organization.

  • DAMANI PARRIS - Executive Director, Head Coach

    Coach Mani possesses a seasoned basketball mind, he is a respected figure in the local community, and serves as the Head Coach for Kennedy Middle School. He brings a unique perspective to the game.
